Nancy Hollen – Coaldale Colorado

Coaldale is a diverse community made up of several ranches with residential areas interspersed among them as well as extensive public lands and a small mining area. The Holcim mine owners are always ready to help out the Coaldale community in any way they can and are very considerate of the residents.

It is a friendly community, and they have many activities at the Coaldale Community Center for everyone to participate in and have fun.

It consists of a mixture of retirees and self employed people plus others who work in either Canon City or Salida, which is about a 25 minute drive to either town.

It is a great area for having large vegetable gardens and fruit trees, if the well permit allows outside watering.
